Me: in words

I am very indecisive. I perfer using a calculator even on the really easy things. I can't control myself when I'm laughing. I'm plain. I'm simple. I couldn't go a night without my blanket. I really love my family (and I mean it). I love scratching on a chalkboard. And I love wearing lots of rings. I think walking on the beach in search of seashells is super fun.... and dancing is my passion. Blue heels. Red stilettos. anything vintage.

Allstar Weekend!

This last weekend (November 5, 2010) My sister, my friend and me got to go to the Electric Theatre St. George, Utah, to see an Allstar Weekend concert! It was amazing, but I will start at the begging!

The first band that performed was called Action Item, they were really good and their lead singer was very very good looking! They were really nice too, I met them during and intermission. After them was Stephen Jerzak, he is just amazing. End of story! I also got to meet him, and he is very nice also. Then The Scene Asthetic performed, I have never heard of them before but they were also great!
Last but not least, ALLSTAR WEEKEND performed! They, ofcourse, as always did WONDERFUL! Occasionally they would come to the side of the stage and touch our hands, a couple of times they held my hand and looked me in the eyes... but here's the really good part-
After a few songs Cameron (guitarist), told the audience that they needed a girl to come up on stage! So I started yelling and jumping, Cameron then pointed to me, motioning me to come up on stage! So I jumped on stage and Zach (lead singer) sat me on a chair and sang to me! The song he sang was called "Amy"! Halfway through the song, Zach knelt down at my knees and grabbed my hand, his face was less than a foot away from mine! It was so amazing, I wanted to cry but I didn't because I was infront of the whole crowd. Afterwords, the band did a meet and greet up on the balcany, that's where I actually got to talk to them. I gave them each a hug, and Zach two hugs. Now I feel kind of embarrassed because the hugs I gave Zach were like a whole minute each, and that is pretty long for a hug! Oh well! I am just so thankful for this, it was a dream come true and a blessing! I will remember this forever, and I will post the video of them singing to me and the pictures hopefully sometime this week, they are all on my friends camera, which reminds me.. Thanks Lexie for video-ing it and taking the pictures, YOU ROCK!

Big Time Rush concert summer of '10

My older sister Andrea and I were sitting at the computer one day, and saw that Big Time Rush was coming to Las Vegas! We had to go, there was no way we could miss this once in a life time chance BTR is like one of our FAVORITE boy bands! So we called up my friend Kaylee and invited her too!

Here are some pics of the concert!

Thursday, August 19, 2010

Way before I was born, and even before my older sister was born, my mother had a still-born. (A still-born is when your baby dies, but is still born.) I don't know if you have seen or read Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who .. That movie is one of my favorites and it also has one of my favorite quotes "A person is a person no matter how small" (my parents put that quote on my brothers grave). To me it's a very inspirational quote. I love it!
I really, really want to know my older brother. When I'm really sad I think (deeply) about how my life would change, where I would live, what friends I would have.. but the one thing I should think about is that things happen for a reason. None of us know that reason, but what ever happened was supposed to happen. I really am grateful for my life and what I have. It's super important that we all know that. Now I realize everything that I have been through needed to happen for me. All the trials that I go through just make me stronger and I'm very, very thankful for that.

A MOTHERS LOVE

By unknown Author

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:

For cutting the grass: $5.00

For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00

For going to the store for you: $.50

Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $.25

Taking out the garbage: $1.00

For getting a good report card: $5.00

For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00

Total owed: $14.75

Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:

For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me:

No Charge

For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you:

No Charge

For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years:

No Charge

For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead:

No Charge

For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose:

No Charge

Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is:

No Charge.

When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, "Mom, I sure do love you." And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: "PAID IN FULL".
